Good Morning scrappers! Tamara here stopping by for another template Tuesday reveal!  Today, we are exactly ONE week away from Christmas and I am no where near close to being ready. In fact, I just decorated the Christmas tree this week and got the house cleaned  in preparation for a visit form Ol’ St. Nick! It seems, according to my youngest, that Santa won’t come unless the tree is up and decorated and the house is super clean! So, I finally sucked it up and got about my duty as mother. Twelve hours later, the house is spic and span, and I have come to the decision to boycott Christmas next year! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Christmas. I love the family get togethers and the food and the laughter. I love watching the kids unwrap their presents and seeing the joy that is on their faces.  BUT, its the craziness that happens in the month before that that I want…no NEED… to boycott. I just get so busy, that sometimes I lose that Christmas Spirit and instead of singing JOY to the World, I am ripping my hair out and calling for Christmas to be over.

I know I am probably not the only mom who feels this way, and I am certainly not going to be the last. I think it probably comes with the territory. But, when I AM feeling down and caught up in the commercialization of Christmas, the one and only thing  I even remotely know how to do that can turn my frown upside down is to SCRAP!!

Isn’t it wonderful?? As soon as I saw it I knew I would love how my layout turned out and I was right!! Here is my layout using the freebee.

Those are two of my four girls..the youngest and the oldest, and they are like two peas in a pod!  Just scrapping their sweet little faces lifted my Christmas Spirit!  I  used a  beautiful  new kit from Bella Gypsy called  Be Merry! I just love the bright colors and the pop of red on the green really makes it really  stand out!
