Sine- Question for you

I downloaded your fab template. I opened it up and went "uhhhh now what". I am so lost. :001_unsure:This is a wonderful template and I so want to work with it but I think it's just beyond my abilities (at least today it is) Could you give a little tut how to use this? I got confused with it being all one psd file and then having the subfolders. I'm sure it's pretty simple, I think I'm just not seeing it. Maybe I just need one of these :smackhead: today.

To make the template I've used the group function in PS.. I use CS3 but I'm sure it will work quite similar in PSE..

I used groups to keep track of where the templates belong since they have different lengths.. This might not seem that important in this little project, but you'll get the point when I'm all set up in the store.. *wink wink*


Ok.. This is where we start out..

Notice theese little triangles.. They're the clue to everything when it comes to groups..

Every time there's a triangle, it's a folder that you can unfold by clicking it..

Here I've clicked both the 1st and the 2nd page folder.. You see how not all the layers are visible..

I've paired them up and even linked them together so you should be able to see which layers go together..

If you try switching the visible layers you'll see the "missing" pages.. ;)

You probably want to customize the cover as well, or even remove it completely..
To take my template away and create your own from scratch, simply make the "layout" group in the cover folder invisible..

Of course you can always choose to use my premade template.. To do that you just click the triangle at the "layout" group to open the content..

I hope this made sense.. I really did try to make it as easy as possible, but I guess it backfired.. LOL

Let me see if I have this right though. Each folder contains both versions of the page or cover? And I simply need to just hide the one I'm not using right? I think that's where I was confused when I first opened it up. Now I see it looking at your screen shots.

No, the cover folder contains a layout folder, the cover background and the scallops.
The 1st page folder contains the "at" and the "my" template.
The 2nd page folder contains the star and the heart.
