Have you ever made a wedding album? Did you paper scrap it? digi scrap? hybrid? What was your biggest challenge when it came to scrapping the album? What was your favorite part to scrap? Do you wish you had done things differently now?

Have you ever made a wedding album?
Yes for our tenth anniversary I made our 12x12 wedding album and gave each of the parents a copy of the 6x6 wedding album since we didn't have a real photographer for the wedding.

Did you paper scrap it? digi scrap? hybrid?
Digi

What was your biggest challenge when it came to scrapping the album?
Finding a kit that I could make 20+ pages with that had a lot of choices/selections and I really liked. I ended up buying Pajama's For Love Charity kit and used all their non-winter elements for my album.

Since I didn't use all the winter elements/papers I still can scrap that much more with the kit! It was a great purchase and knowing that the money went to charity was even better! Totally worth the wait!

What was your favorite part to scrap?
All of it, it was so nice to scrap the memory of the wedding. It really was an emotional day from my dad saying "are you sure this is who are to marry, its not too late to leave" to crying when the poem "Who giveth this woman" was read, to the laughter of the Pastor not saying my name right, to the unity candle blowing out and then not being able to get it relit---it really was nice to be able to look back and appreciate/enjoy the day!

Do you wish you had done things differently now?
With the album?
With my wedding?
Or about my life?!

Reguardless about the album, yes. I wish I had taken pictures of my pictures instead of scanning them. They were dark and you can't really see the quality of the photos because they were so dark (much darker than I'd like)

About my wedding, yes. I would have eloped had I known it was going to be like that. Saved the money and ran! :D

About my life---no, its perfect the way that it is.

What was your biggest challenge when it came to scrapping the album? Figuring out what exactly I wanted to do.
What was your favorite part to scrap?the little things...getting ready, the moments we snuck off together, etc
Do you wish you had done things differently now?

I had good intentions with the wedding album! I did finish a 24 page 6x6 paper scrapped album for my MIL. I fully intended to do one for my mom and one for us but that paper scrappin' takes LOADS of time! We got married in October and I gave her the album for Christmas and I am pretty sure I worked on it every weekend for at least eight weeks. Somewhere I have a photo of the setup when I was doing it - it was hysterical. Me and a card table in the middle of the living room with paper everywhere! :headknock:

I have all the papers and stuff but I am so addicted to digi I don't think I could go back. I should see if I can get the one I made MIL back and see if I can duplicate it digitally somehow.

The June lyric challenge has inspired me...I might do at least a layout this weekend and see what I think.

Nope I haven't done one. I really should. It would be a lot of hard work, but I know I'd love the end result.

I did one, not too long after we got married (11 yrs. ago yesterday!!). I did it with paper, b/c I had not heard of digi-scrappin' 11 yrs. ago. I am in the process of starting a digi one, though, just b/c I'd like to have a printed and bound book done. (And as soon as I get Lightroom, I'd like to see if I can edit our photos a little bit!)

Nope, haven't done one yet. My pics are sitting in a regular photo album that my aunt made. It's covered with pretty satin and lace fabric and has our wedding invite in the middle of the cover. I would like to do a digi album but then I would have to scan all my photos and I'm just not that ambitious at the moment. Maybe I'll just do a 8 1/2x 11 page every once in a while and add it to the album since its a three ring binder type.

Someday I'll get it all organized and lookin' pretty like yours Jen!

Have you ever made a wedding album? Yes! Finished it this march. It's gonna be our first year anniversary at the end of this month! Yay!

Did you paper scrap it? digi scrap? hybrid?.. This is the reason I got HOOKED on Digi!

What was your biggest challenge when it came to scrapping the album? The biggest challenge was trying to get it done before my MIL went back to her home in Colombia! It is too risky to mail something like that so I had to make sure it was done before she left! Got it done with a week to spare, a version in English AND a version in Spanish!

What was your favorite part to scrap? My favorite part was all of it! I scrapped the whole experience from the bridal showers and planning to the bachelor party, etc. So I enjoy having all of the fun memories in one album.

Do you wish you had done things differently now? I don't think I would do it differently. I think it helped that it was my first digi album because I didn't try to do crazy things with my LOs like I'd probably do now! I love it!
