Contest layouts

What happened to all of our layouts from the contest? They are not in the gallery anymore! Were they all deleted? Can I get them back, or do I have to upload them again?

Did they disappear from your personal gallery as well? Or did you only upload them to the contest gallery to start out with?

I just noticed that mine are missing from my personal gallery as well. I tried to reupload the image for a couple but it won't work. It just says no thumbnail and there's the dreaded red x when you click on the no thumbnail to see if there's still the bigger image. :sniffle:

edited to add- I did upload them originally to both galleries- my main gallery, and the SYTYCD gallery.

Alright girls! It might have something to do with our server change? I'll ask Kami, Mel or Shauna when I catch them, unless they get here first. :)

Mine too - but I wondered if maybe I did something wrong with the upload the first time. Is there a certain way to upload layouts when I want make sure they stay in my gallery too? I am such a noob at this that I guess I need an instruction manual! :lolt:

Any advice on 'procedures' when uploading to a gallery or multiple galleries would be appreciated! I checked the site tips and tricks just now and didn't see anything specific to how to select which galleries. Today I have been selecting 'Member galleries' when I upload a photo and then add 'challenge' on the next screen. I think in the past I just selected 'challenge' (or whatever was appropriate at the time) and then never selected an additional category.

yes, mine are all gone and I uploaded them to both Contest and Members gallery.
And Im too lazy to reupload them, so they are gone from me :D

I was chatting with Jennifer today and I think we discovered that if you uploaded to the contest gallery a first (as the main choice), then put your own gallery in the optional or other gallery choice that's why they disappeared with the removal of the contest galleries. However if you uploaded them to your member gallery and put the contest gallery as your second choice then they should still be there. Does that make sense?

Thanks for the answers and tips. I had thought they were automatically linked to your own personal gallery too, like some sites do it. That's ok. I'll reupload them when I get a chance! Only sad thing is, I lost the great comments too. Oh well, I'll get new comments from people! :)

Yes, my LO's and comments are gone as well - at least the ones from the contest LO. I will if I find time to re-upload them over the weekend...
