Actually here at the Orchard you're allowed to hotlink... which means you don't need to reupload to your own server (photo host like photobucket or something like that)

Go to your User CP and click edit signature

Here's the link I grabbed from the gallery by right clicking and getting the file properties. http://scraporchard.com/gallery/data/511/ZIGGLEFAN.gif
