1-Are you/were you close to your Father growing up? now?
I was never super close to my dad, he was a workaholic, and even when he was home was always working. Then once he changed jobs, he preferred to hang out with my brother and his friends. I'm probably even less close to him now, as he doesn't take the time to email me or call me often and I can never get him when I call.
2-What is your favorite quality in your significant other? If you don't have one, what is a quality that is very important to you for him to have?
He makes me laugh. Even when I am feeling like utter crap, he always has something to say that makes me laugh. He's gotten me through some very tough times and I am soo glad that he was there, not any of my stupid ex boyfriends, lol.
3-Who is your male celebrity crush?
Paul Walker. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
4-What is one memory you have that you love about the men in your life?
picking one memory is hard, lol. I think one of my favorites of DH is when he fell asleep on the couch shortly after we moved to Italy, and our tiny kitten(only 9 weeks old) climbed onto his chest to wake him up. She was licking his nose trying to wake him up, he opened his eyes and freaked out and fell off the floor. It was hilarious and adorable, because he spent the next 15 minutes trying to calm the kitty down, lol.
5-If you were to be a man for a day, what would you choose to be your name, your job, and why?
My name would be Jason, as that is the name my parents had chosen for me if I was a boy(I was a delivery surprise) and I would be an architect. I've always been fascinated by architecture and even spent some time studying it.

1-Are you/were you close to your Father growing up? now? Growing up no. He's not a big talker (I don't shut up), but I've discovered over the years that he always has my back.

2-What is your favorite quality in your significant other? If you don't have one, what is a quality that is very important to you for him to have? Honesty and integrity,

3-Who is your male celebrity crush? Jon Bon Jovi...would love to make a memory

4-What is one memory you have that you love about the men in your life? my brother showing up at the hospital after my cancer surgery. It was after visiting hours, but he was on duty so in uniform, the nurses let him in. He's a police officer in a different town but his fellow officers covered for him so he could come make a quick visit to make sure I was ok. The first time my son put his arms around me and said "I love you mom"

5-If you were to be a man for a day, what would you choose to be your name, your job, and why? Michael, can't think of anything........

1-Are you/were you close to your Father growing up? now?
We weren't as close as we are now, mainly b/c my dad worked for the railroad and was gone almost all the time. We're much closer now, and usually talk and/or see each other every day.

2-What is your favorite quality in your significant other? If you don't have one, what is a quality that is very important to you for him to have?
He's just such a good person. He always tries to do the right thing, and I love that about him. (Also the fact that he can fix anything, whether it's construction, automotive, plumbing, electrical, you name it. -- I love never having to wait on a repairman for anything!)

3-Who is your male celebrity crush?
George Clooney (I would pay to watch him in anything, including if he just sat on stage and read from the phone book!)

4-What is one memory you have that you love about the men in your life?
I have lots, but the one I love the most is the look on my husband's face when our first child was born. So precious, that memory.

5-If you were to be a man for a day, what would you choose to be your name, your job, and why?
I'm like Benita, I wouldn't want to be a man. I love being a wife and mother too much.

1-Are you/were you close to your Father growing up? now?

My father was away alot when I was a child.. When I grew older he was there when I needed him most. I moved away when I was 17, I had gotten a job at a hotel pretty far from home and lived at the hotel too - I felt miserable there, and one evening I called my parents crying and complaining.. 1 hour later he stood there, ready to take me home.. It still brings tears to my eyes thinking of it - it really ment a lot to me, although I stayed..

2-What is your favorite quality in your significant other? If you don't have one, what is a quality that is very important to you for him to have?

Soul mates.. Although we don't agree on everything we always manage to have good conversations.. And one of the more important - we can dance even without music.. Sunday morning dances are the best!

3-Who is your male celebrity crush?

Hehe.. I just Love Brad Pitt.. Especially in Troy.. and Legends of the Fall..

4-What is one memory you have that you love about the men in your life?

For my father it's Q2.. For my baby brother who's 18 it's when he came to me at 12 y'old and shared his girl problems.. For my ex bf it's that we still talk and that he still fixes my computer.. LOL Hubby and ex gets along well! :)
For my hubby it's seeing him with dd when they build hideouts in the livingroom with sheets and blankets and EVERYTHING that's made of fabric.. LOL! They're SO cute!

5-If you were to be a man for a day, what would you choose to be your name, your job, and why?

If I was born a boy my name had probably been Andreas after my grandfather.. Since almost all boys in the town I come from turn out as mecanics that would probably have been my destiny as well.. LOL

If it was just for one day at present time, I really have no clue.. I'd probably watch European Championship in soccer with the guys.. LOL

1-Are you/were you close to your Father growing up? now?
Growing up . . . .yes and no. I was scared of my father.
Now. . .yes, we are always playing cards, talking, etc. He's still "scary" when he's angry, but I just go to my house when he's crabby!

2-What is your favorite quality in your significant other? If you don't have one, what is a quality that is very important to you for him to have?
Alright, first I have to say that you wrote "What is your favorite quality in your significant other? If you don't have one," and I immediatly thought of if your SO didn't have any qualities that you like---not how you intended of if you dont have an SO :doh4: I thought it was really funny!

I'd have to say that one of my favorite qualities about him is when I have those "wake up in the middle of the night, oh my goodness is my loved one dead" nightmare how he always tries calming me down and walks me through it that yes it was a nightmare and yes it didn't happen and then in the morning he always tries to find a way to prove that it was just a nightmare.

My husband is NOT the type of person that enjoys getting up after he's been sleeping. He never got up with the kids when they were babies--he hated to. But when I have those horrible (and I mean HORRIBLE) nightmares, he was always right there calming me down. When it was all said and done, right before going back to bed, he always takes the time to pray and ask God to watch over and help us get a good nights rest---he is so thoughtful and sweet!

3-Who is your male celebrity crush?
I dont have one---my male crush is my husband. I dont look at other men

4-What is one memory you have that you love about the men in your life?
The one thing Josh and I always talk about is how we spent our Friday nights BK (before kids) We'd always go to the movie store and rent videos (back then they were only a dollar for the older movies!) and then we'd get some chinese to take home. We'd pull out our matress into the living room and "camp" out eating our chinese and watching movies way into Saturday morning!

Another thing that Josh and I always talk about is all those late night watching Friends. Even in our phone conversations now we say something and then say "oh do you remember that in Friends?" It is always good for a laugh.

I love that my DH and I have those moments that we can talk about and look forward to after the children are grown

5-If you were to be a man for a day, what would you choose to be your name, your job, and why?
Alright, Im stumped.
I dont want to be a man, never wanted to be a man---they have too many responsibilities. Although I have a lot of responsbilities, I wouldn't want to be the one to be away from my children working 15 months away from the family. I have no desire to be a man or have their responsibilites!
Im content being a woman and in my position that I currently am in!
