Okay girls (and guys if there's any out there) get out those favorite recipes and start scrappin' 'em! Here's the start of a new monthly challenge to scrap our favorite recipes. (Not to be confused with Kami's wonderful Fruit Salad challenge)

Each month I will list an ingredient or category. Scrap your recipe that includes the ingredient or that is from the category, post it in the challenge gallery (http://scraporchard.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=539) and then come back here and post the link so we can leave you some love.

The only other rule to this challenge is you should scrap your page in a 8 1/2 x 11 portrait format so that we all can easily print out and collect them. Just think what beautiful cookbooks we'll all have in the end!

If you want to use photos go right ahead, but it's not necessary for this challenge.

I can't wait to see all the yummy contributions!

So let's get cookin'!

For the first challenge your LO recipe must include BERRIES! Where I live berries are very abundant in the summer and I have yet to discover everything that can be done with them. So give us your favorite "berry" recipe using blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, etc. You get the idea. I'll even allow cherries since I'm here in the cherry capital and we're having our annual National Cherry Festival this week.

Have fun!

here's my quick example:

Scrappinmint - what a great choice for the first cook/recipe challenge!!! :toot:

We have yummy wild blackberries growing in our backyard! I just got great photos of them this past WE & was thinking about how I'd scrap them! This recipe challenge is perfect!

Thanks for going ahead with this wonderful idea! I can't wait to assemble my pages from everyone!! :hyper:

Love this challenge and want to play. Not a huge cook though so will have to give this some thought. Love berries, too.

Don't worry Kathy, we won't make you do any actual cooking  LOL Just find any ol' berry recipe and scrap it. Google does wonders! ;)

I'm not much of a baker, I cook but don't really bake. I'll look and see what I can find. I just buy berries at the local fruit stand, bring them home, wash and eat, no prep involved, lol.

Ack!! :eek2: I couldn't find one with blackberries in my stash - I'll have to go on Food Network dot com to find a good one!

Instead - I made a recipe LO that has 2 drink recipes! One is for Pineapple Punch & I thought about Shauna immediately!! :001_cool:

I hope y'all like them too!
