OK..i tried posting this in a "Scanning only" forum, but hopeless..
I have seen many designers scan a ribbon to make an element out of it. They even scan a knotted ribbon... my question is, has anyone here tried scanning a ribbon? does it get blurry at places which are not in direct contact with the scanner's glass? how do you take care of it? or maybe you need have a really really high end scanner to get on so neat? I tried the clone tool, but it doesnt end up "clean". so any scanning tips?
Alternatively, does anyone know of a designer/blog where i can get a commercial use action to create the same?? i tried atomic cupcake, it doesnt have it.
