I have been asked to make a 8 1/2 X 11 ( paper sized) invite to a quincera ( a 15 yr old mexican girls coming out party) They want me to make a starry background ( the girls name is estrella, which means star) and have pics of her as a kid and in her gown and some digi scrap elements. Im not sure what size to make the invite on my PSP 9 program so they can print this out at walmart on what im thinking will be 8x10 sized photopaper. does anyone have any ideas? i need this fast!!!!

At Costco they have an 8.5x11 option.

How many invites will there be? Is buying 8.5 x 11 photo paper and printing at your home an option?

its up to them to print and im not sure if they will do it at home or not. i think they want to do it at walmart, but i told them its gonna cost ALOT! they just asked me to make the invites and put it on disc so they can print them out at the size of a peice of paper. I told them it would cost more, but they liked the bigger size. I thought a 5x7 would be plenty big.. but.. LOL

i was concerend that if i saved the layout i make in paint shop at a certain size, it wont be big enough to cover the whole paper. i know the photo machine at walmart prints 8x10s, so id have to do it to fit that, and not look streched out or pixally etc. just wondering if there were any universal size to make scrapbook page print out to an 8x 10 size.

You should be able to set the size you want - I know you can in PSE5.0 and other programs.

meterr,
I am becoming fairly familiar with Paint Shop Pro X2 and it is easy to make your page any size in inches or pixels under image resize. Is that the program you are referring to? If you still need help let me know and I'll be happy to give you more information.

If you're planning on printing I'd make it 300 dpi.. so that would be 2400 by 3300 pixels. Then you should probably add some bleed around the edges to make sure that the stuff at the edges doesn't get cut off.
