Well, apparently I suck at this lyrical challenge stuff.. but isn't it suppose to be a challenge!?!? Okay okay.. I'll go super mainstream for Round 5.

I Hope You Dance - by Lee Ann Womack

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder,
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger,
May you never take one single breath for granted,
GOD forbid love ever leave you empty handed,
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

I hope you dance....I hope you dance.

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance,
Never settle for the path of least resistance,
Livin' might mean takin' chances but they're worth takin',
Lovin' might be a mistake but it's worth makin',
Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter,
When you come close to sellin' out reconsider,
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along,
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.)

I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

Dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance..
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along,
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.)

I don't think you suck at this at all, Mel... I like the song you chose the last time... it was different, and I'm still going to scrap it.... I just found this challenge the other day for the first time... cause I'm slow... LOL... it rocks!!! This song is cool too... even if it makes me cry!!!

I knew straight away what I wanted to scrap and used Sine's free template from her challenge no 3. Ziggle Designs Enchanting Indigo was a great opportunity to get away from the pink baby kits and I had to stop myself from adding more of her gorgeous elements. It's a shame that all my baby photos are pre digital but that's all we had in the olden days.

Great pick, Mel. This song was popular when I was pregnant with Tanner (I even won her CD from a radio station...LOL!), so it's always been "my" song for him. Will definately have to take up this challenge.

I really really REALLY love this picture of my middlest DD Payton. I have used it in A LOT of layouts recently but fits this lyrics challenge perfect!

how much of the song do we need to include on the layout? I know at least the course, but what are the 'rules' :-) Thanks!!

With some of the past songs I've seen as much as the whole song to as little as one line. Just as long as it's credited I think your good!
I can't wait to see what you come up with!
