PSE6 Question

Ok, so I (obviously!) have PSE6, and I'm sooo loving it. BUT! I'm having issues with dropshadows after erasing sections to make them look weaved or threaded. The dropshadow pops up on the edge that i have erased and makes it look weird. :gaah: I am fairly sure I can't do separate dropshadow layers, so I want to know how others tackle this issue!! Thanks if anyone can help!!

I put the drop shadows on the bottom layer, then duplicate that layer, clear the shadow, sometimes reshadow...just mess around with it. I can't explain it, lol. IM me and I will tell you more

I duplicate my layers before adding the dropshadows, then I will add a dropshadow to only one or the other when I have finished erasing and cleaning up. Otherwise, when you go to erase, you have to make sure to get all the dropshadow parts, too. Dropshadows are almost always the last thing I do in a layout.

When you click apply shadow, there is a blue fx in the layer part...click that and you can change the shadow...up, down, lighter, darker etc......hope that helps a bit!
