DSD Make It Snappy #1!-All rules posted! Post layouts by 5:20 pm ET!

Alright folks! Gather your kits, find your favorite photos, and get ready for a Speed Scrap! In 45 minutes I will post the first instruction, right here in this thread!

1. Pick 3 papers. One paper must be solid, one paper must be patterned. The third paper is your choice.

2.Make your pattern paper your background paper. Select one photo to use for this layout.

3. Frame that photo!!!

4.Crop one of the remaining two papers as a mat for your page. Crop the last paper as a journaling strip/tag of some sorts.

5. Add some stitching!

6. Add at least 4 elements to your page, and make sure some of them are clustered around your photo!

7. Add a one word title to your page. Journaling is optional!



That's it folks! All 7 rules have now been posted. You have TWO HOURS! to complete your layouts and upload them to the special Jennifer's Make It Snappy gallery (http://scraporchard.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=693). Make sure you post back here with a link to your layout so we can all leave some love and see the wonderful pages!

After I verify that your page is complete, I will PM out the links to the elements from Harvest Moon. Please be patient as the site is running a bit slow with all the extra DSD traffic and it may take me some time to PM everyone. I was so glad it find that NDSD just happened to fall on the weekend my Hubby is at work. No need to try to convince him that I really need the desktop even though I "can" scrap on the laptop. It is just really slow. This is what happens when two computer people marry....

I had too much trouble uploading my LO's today -- I don't know if it's me or if it's b/c it's extra crowded b/c of NSD, but it's so frustrating to resize it and save it, and not have it work. Someone gave me a hint for another challenge that if you don't put a title in at first, it uploads better. It worked for one upload but not for this one. So I finally gave up on this - but the LO's here are gorgeous!!! So glad to see them all.
