Hello, I use PSCS but I am a digital artist/designer so I can work with just about and tut and figure it out. I've figured out buttons, styles, beads, and many more but I can't make wire or string. Anybody know other than freebies, I got those, I'm trying to spend this year building up to become an SBing designer.

I know that www.photoshopelementsuser.com has a tutorial on it for their subscribers, I can't imagine that there isn't a version somewhere for CS. Or maybe this one would give you enough of an idea that you might be able to do it from what it gives you. She lists her tutorials here (http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/showthread.php?p=88048), this way you can see if you feel it is worthwhile. I am searching for any somewhere else that are free, but haven't found one yet.

Open up a transparent layer, what ever size you like. Take your pencil tool and draw a line, or scribble. across the layer, then find a good metal style, could be gold or silver, and apply that style to your pencil layer. walla, you have your wire. It's so easy a cave man can do it! I love that geico commercial. Hope that helped.

You can check out Monica Larsen, she has a string action. Just google her and you should find her store(s). Or try extracting string from a photo.
