Anyone know of a list of fonts that can be used commercially and downloaded for free?

Or do you know of any free commercial-use fonts?

Thanks.

Good question. I wanted to dabble in some word art.

have you tried www.dafont.com? They have all kinds of free fonts and it's usually listed beside the font if it's for personal use or not. Another is www.fontgarden.com

Most of the fonts that I encounter say that you can't share the font file with others. What I interpret that as is that you can't share the file that installs the font on their computer so they can use it in their programs. I'm not sharing the font file with anyone. I'm not selling the font file. I'm just selling something made with the font.

When I download fonts, I look to see if they come with a TOU, and if the TOU says something about not selling stuff you make with the font, I just delete it. Not many from the free sites say that, though :)

These are the resources..I have collected and or purchased through the past few years..
and are basically hassle free..and safe..it was a whole lot easier for me just to buy them..when it comes to picking and choosing what to work with..hope this helps some...hugs, Joanne

Thanks for all the help, ladies. :thankyou: I've started an Excel for myself to help me keep track of free fonts. I think in the future, if I really get into this S4H stuff, I'll just purchase fonts so I don't have to worry about a thing.
