Hello From KY

Hello! :) I'm Bonnie - originally from IL transplanted to KY a few
years ago. I'm new to Digi-Scapping and Scrapping and Forums!
(So I hope you all will let me know if I'm doing anything wrong! :)

I've been reading Shauna's blog (I just love her!) since I first stumbled onto
digiscrapping and have been watching The Orchard since it opened. I decided
to challenge myself to make a layout for each of the SYTYCD kits that I like and
download and actually post them. (I usually do challenges and then chicken
out when it comes to posting!)

I'm a (mostly) SAHM with 7 kids, ages 26 - 1 yr. (1 boy 6 girls). And since I've
never scrapped before a few months ago have BOXES of pictures and lots
of pictures on my hard drive to catch up on!

I'm looking forward to hanging out here! :)

I thought I was busy with 5, I can't imagine 7. I have older ones and little ones too (22,19,17,4 and 7months) and tons of pictures to scrap. Problem is finding the time.

Welcome to the Orchard! I know what you mean about challenges. I used to do them, but then wouldn't upload my LO's b/c I worried they weren't good enough. But this is a great place to be, b/c everybody likes to "leave some love" in the gallery. So upload away, and let us see what you're creating!

Awesome!! Our kids are all pretty close in age - mine are 26, 22, 20, 18, 15,
4 and 1. I'm getting my first grandbaby in August. (Still getting used to
that idea...)

I'll bet you're just as busy with 5 as I am with 7. There comes a point when
you're just BUSY all the time!! lol I know what you mean about finding time!!

nice to meet you..I thought Bethany had her hands full with 5 children..but 7....but it must be a joy..each and every one of them..I only have the one...and it is a constant struggle to teach him to share..and lots of other good things that having a brother or sister..would teach him..can't have anymore babies..and he was my miracle baby..as I have pcod..and got pregnant at 35, I still can't believe I am a mother some days..I wish in life it was easier to adopt..
you to must have been an older mother with your one yr old ..

I am a bit of a chicken too..I wanted to enter the contest..but did not have the courage..someday..I will get brave..

Welcome Bonnie! I think posting layouts is liking jumping off the high dive! You're waiting for how that water will receive you this time! The Orchard has some wonderfully creative people and if EVERYONE posts layouts (whether you think you're "good" or not), we can ALL learn and gleen something new from one another! That's how it works, you know?!?

I look forward to seeing many more from you as you work on your backlog! Heck, I've got a backlog of my own here! :)

Thanks so much for the welcome! Yep, I'm an older Mom this time
around. I KNOW Bethany has her hands full - I remember when
mine were all around hers' ages. Sheesh and she home-schools
doesn't she? besides doing her wordart. Now all of my older ones
help out with the babies, thank goodness! I think as an older Mom
I appreciate SO much more, but I get A LOT more tired too! lol

I just went and looked at the LO in your gallery
and it's Awesome! I hope you post a LOT more! :)

What a great analogy - and SO true! I've already learned a lot and found a bunch of things I can't wait to try just by going through the gallery! :)

Here's to backlogs! lol - I guess without them we wouldn't have much to do, huh? ;)
