March 8 – What the Font?

Hey fellow digital scrapbookers! HoneyBee Jenn (jennamy82) here! Lately I am all about journaling on my pages and find the right font is key to the right journaling! If you are anything like me then this month font will be perfect for you!

Mar. 6 Make mine a double Challenge

I wanted to hi-lite Digital Scrapbooker nietis’s page 00-10 from last months Make Mine A DoubleChallenge
Love her use of details and composition, go and leave her some love.
Now for this month’s challenge. We are going to scrap our New Year’s Celebration photos,
however you spent that evening on the couch, with other family members,
watching the ball drop on TV just scrap it. It has to be a double pager you can use all photos
on both sides or photos and journaling on each side, you decide. I decided to scrap my 2 lil one’s,
I think they had more fun than I did they rung it in with so much joy I couldn’t pass this moment up.
I decided I had to use Liz’s templates she makes the most fantastic 2 pager templates.

The March Mega

Hi there, Honey Bee Lilja here – wondering if you had checked out the fantastic March Mega at the Orchard yet? One of the best parts of being a part of a digital scrapping community is that there is constant supply of fantastic new goodies that remind you of something that you just HAVE to scrap! When I saw the MEGA this month, it reminded me of the first signs of spring.
I live in Iceland – and spring is still far away – but the first signs of it, for me, came already at the beginning of February. That’s when my fjord got filled with fish and my glacier was bathed in sunlight still at 5 pm. When you are used to so much darkness, all the daylight we are slowly getting back just yells “SPRING” to us – and even though the sounds of the seagulls can hardly be described as beautiful bird songs, it still means that the fjord is filling with fish and fishing boats and whales – and that is a definite sign of spring around my parts.
I scrapped this feeling, using the beautiful Fly a Kite March Mega
I hope you’ll join me in this month’s MEGA challenge, where the challenge is to scrap about the first signs of spring.
